This methodological guide supports international students preparing a Masters dissertation in Management and Marketing of Technical Solutions and Digital Products at the National University of Science and Technology MISIS. It explains how to turn a managerial issue into a researchable question, connect theory with evidence, select and justify a research design, collect and analyse data responsibly, and present a defensible argument in the Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion structure. A short introduction explains why scientific methodology developed and why it matters for applied management research. The guide combines quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods guidance with accessible statistical explanations, worked examples, figures, research planning templates and a final review checklist. Students should use the guide alongside supervision and the current programme regulations and dissertation template.
