One sunny morning, Lucas was playing in the yard. He heard a soft whimpering sound. Lucas followed the sound and found a little golden retriever puppy. The puppy looked up at Lucas with big, hopeful eyes. Lucas decided to name the puppy Prince. He gently picked up Prince and hugged him. From that moment, they became best friends.

Lucas and Prince were excited to explore the neighborhood. They walked down the street, greeting everyone they met. They saw a squirrel scampering up a tree. Prince barked happily, and Lucas laughed. They found a small park with a playground. Lucas and Prince played on the swings and slides. It was the beginning of many adventures together.
