Liam had always wanted a pet. He often dreamed of having a furry friend to play with. One sunny morning, his parents called him to the living room. There, in a small basket, was a cute puppy. “His name is Benjamin,” said Liam’s mom. Liam’s eyes sparkled with joy. He hugged the puppy tightly. “Thank you, Mom and Dad!” he exclaimed.

Liam and Benjamin spent their first day together exploring the house. Benjamin sniffed every corner curiously. Liam showed him his toys and even shared his favorite teddy bear. They played fetch with a small ball. Benjamin wagged his tail happily. Liam laughed and clapped his hands. “We’re going to be best friends,” Liam said. Benjamin barked in agreement.
