Emily loved to play in her garden. One sunny morning, she found a small rabbit nibbling on a carrot. Emily crouched down and watched quietly. The rabbit had soft fur and big, curious eyes. «Hello, little rabbit,» Emily whispered. The rabbit twitched its nose but didn’t run away. Emily decided to name her new friend Abigail.

Emily wanted to get closer to Abigail. She knew she had to be gentle and move slowly. Emily picked a fresh carrot from the garden. She extended her hand towards Abigail, offering the carrot. Abigail sniffed the air and took a small hop forward. Emily stayed very still, her heart beating fast. Abigail nibbled the carrot from Emily’s hand.
