In this monograph, the author deeply analyzes the concept of the era of global bifurcation. First of all, he emphasizes that at the beginning of the 21st century there is a complex interaction of local and global crisis phenomena, including the environmental crisis, the crisis of capitalism and the crisis of the American empire. This reinforces global disorganization, creating the prerequisites for structural changes in the global system.
Within the framework of the structural-synergetic approach, the author considers historical alternatives to the era of global bifurcation. He emphasizes the inevitability of this turning point, which can have catastrophic consequences for humanity if the world community continues to ignore complex threats related to environmental, economic, geopolitical and social aspects.
