What could be worse than being stuck in a small town in a foreign country for an entire year? A sixteen-year-old girl is sent to spend the entire school year with her grandmother in a remote town in Louisiana. At first glance, the town seems ordinary, but its true history turns out to be as dark as the forest surrounding it. Is this history connected to the recent disappearance of teenagers in the town? Its something the girl will have to find out, whether she wants to or not.
