At the Market
Every morning, Lena went to the market near her house. She loved watching the sellers, listening to the crowd, and choosing the freshest products. Today, she decided to cook dinner for her friends, so she had a long shopping list: vegetables, fruits, meat, and some fresh bread.
«Good morning!» Lena greeted the vegetable seller. «How much are the tomatoes?»
«Today we have a special offer: 200 rubles per kilogram,» he replied with a smile.
Lena carefully looked at the tomatoes: they were bright, smooth, and ripe. She picked three large ones and put them in a bag.
Next, she walked to the fruit stand. The apples looked delicious, but Lena noticed that some were slightly bruised.
«Can I try one apple?» she asked.
The seller nodded, and Lena bit into a juicy piece. «Perfect, I’ll take a kilogram of these,» she said, pointing to the nicest ones.
When she reached the meat section, the smell of fresh meat reminded her of how her mother always picked the best pieces.
«Do you have boneless chicken breasts?» Lena asked.
«Of course, here they are,» the seller showed her neatly cut pieces. «Very fresh today.»
Lena chose the amount she needed, asked them to weigh it, and put the meat in a bag.
Finally, she passed the bakery stand. The fresh bread with its crispy crust looked so tempting that Lena bought two baguettes: one for dinner, and one for breakfast.
With her bag full of fresh products, Lena walked home. She knew her friends would enjoy the meal in the evening, and she enjoyed the shopping process and chatting with the sellers.

Online Shopping
Anna had been thinking about buying a new laptop for a while. After doing some research online, she decided to check out a few websites to find the best deal. She opened her laptop and went to one of the popular online stores.
«Let me see… this one looks good,» she thought, looking at a laptop with a large screen and great reviews. She checked the price and saw that it was on sale. «Perfect! It’s 20% off today,» she said to herself.
She added the laptop to her shopping cart and then continued browsing for accessories. She needed a new case, a mouse, and a keyboard. After selecting the items she wanted, Anna went to the checkout page.
At the checkout, she was asked to log in to her account. «I don’t remember my password,» she thought, but luckily, she was able to reset it quickly. After logging in, she entered her delivery address and chose the payment method.
«Do you want to apply a discount code?» the website asked. Anna had a code from a recent promotion, so she entered it and got an additional 10% off her purchase.
Finally, Anna completed her order and received a confirmation email. She felt excited about her new laptop and accessories, and she couldn’t wait for the package to arrive.
