The book of the prophet Micah consists of 7 chapters and covers the period from the beginning of the reign of Jotham to the end of the reign of Hezekiah, when Israel with the capital Samaria was captured by the Assyrians. These prophecies can be divided into: 1) a prediction of the coming fall of the kingdom; 2) public corruption, especially supported by false prophets; 3) a prophecy about Bethlehem as the birthplace of the Messiah.
