2 cups peeled and diced apples

Ingredients:

For the Topping:

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup light brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the cake:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature

4 cups powdered sugar

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.

1 1/4 cups milk

Gel food coloring in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple

Ingredients:

For the frosting:

2 cups unsalted butter, softened

6 cups powdered sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3-4 tablespoons milk

For the cake:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease three 8-inch round cake pans.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
